Scot A. Sullivan, MD

Dr. Sullivan has been in full-time practice as an oculoplastic surgeon since 2001. He currently maintains a full-time clinical practice, Portland Oculoplastics, limited to ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery. Previously, Dr. Sullivan was in practice at the Dean A. McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma where he served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the ophthalmology residency program at the Oklahoma University Medical Center.

Dr. Sullivan received his medical degree with special distinction from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed an internship in General Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He returned to Oklahoma City to complete his ophthalmology residency and was awarded the Dr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Acers Resident Honor Award for Scientific Achievement. He spent 2 years as a fellow in oculoplastics under the direction of fellowship preceptor, Roger A. Dailey, MD and associate preceptors, John L. Wobig, MD, MBA and John D. Ng, MD at the Casey Eye Institute in Portland, Oregon.

Dr. Sullivan is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS) and the Oregon Ophthalmologic Alumni Association. He has authored several publications in peer-review journals and has delivered numerous educational lectures within the Department of Ophthalmology as well as other departments throughout the OU Medical Center.

Dr. Sullivan grew up in Norman, Oklahoma and received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Oklahoma with distinction in Electrical Engineering.
